Print or Export a hard copy of your address book
If you use the Windows XP address book, the whole process is a snap. Open your address book. It's in the accessories menu. Go to file, then choose Other Address Book. Choose the file type you wish to export to, such as a text file (CSV is a text format also). A text file is a good option because it's easily printed and universally compatible. Export only the fields you want.
You can also print or export an Outlook XP address book.
Open Microsoft Outlook. Enter your contacts page. Choose File, then Import and Export. Choose to Export to a file. You can choose from a good number of file formats. You can export to one or more to keep your addresses and contact information safe.
