Problems with links in e-mail messages are not uncommon.
Try either of the below solutions that have worked for some people.
Open IE and click Tools / Internet Options / Programs / .
Check to ensure that there is a checkmark in the box labeled "IE should check to make sure it is the default browser".
Click Apply and then OK.
Close IE.
Reopen IE. When you are asked if you want to make it your default browser, click "Yes."
If that doesn't work, do this:
Close IE.
Click Start / Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 urlmon.dll (Be sure to leave a space)
Click OK.
Open IE.
Click Tools / Internet Options / Programs.
Click "Reset Web Settings."
